Computer vision for remote sensing.
About
I'm a PhD student and researcher at the Visual Cognitive Systems Lab at the University of Ljubljana, advised by Assoc. Prof. Luka Čehovin Zajc. I work on computer vision for remote sensing, in particular change detection and self-supervised learning. My models range from carefully tuned supervised baselines and unsupervised frameworks to Earth observation foundation models and generative approaches.
I like research that is clean, reproducible and actually runs. While I strongly believe that it is good for research to be purely blue sky, I also like to connect my work with real use cases. This is reflected in my projects with embedded systems and engagement with the community to find new challenges.
